I love a boo basket, but I’m not here to tell you to spend a fortune on one.
The easiest way to keep the cost down is to reuse what you already have. We use the same baskets every year, bring back Halloween books, jigsaws and games from previous years, and add a few inexpensive new bits if we want to.
You can also use library books, charity shop finds, homemade crafts, favourite snacks or even pop in a ticket for a pumpkin farm or Halloween day out in Derbyshire. It doesn’t all need to be “stuff”.
My biggest tip is to pack the seasonal bits away once Halloween is over. Bring them back out next year and they feel exciting all over again.
(A few of these items have been gifted but we never post anything we would not happily share to you and we turn down and send back far more than we post).
