2. The Whitworth’s Halloween Fantazia Fireworks

7. Eyam Village Bonfire & RAT Burning Procession

8. Matlock RFC’s Electrifying Bonfire & Fireworks

9. Midland Railway – Butterley Fireworks Spectacular
📍 Location: Midland Railway, Butterley

⏰ Time: 5:00 pm – 9:30 pm, Fireworks at 7:30 pm both evenings
Due to popular demand, the Midland Railway – Butterley Fireworks Night returns for two nights of festive fun. Begin your evening with a scenic train ride from Butterley Station, with services departing every few minutes from 5 pm and the last train to Swanwick departing at 7 pm.
Activities at Swanwick Junction include:
- A dazzling fireworks display with music at 7:30 pm
- The Victorian Railwayman’s Church and Demonstration Signal Box open for exploration
- Stationary Power Display and Road Transport Display for a trip back in time
- The spooky Narrow Gauge Train journey through the Country Park (additional fare required)
Seasonal food and hot drinks are available to keep you warm throughout the evening, and the festivities continue after the fireworks until 9:30 pm. Note that access is only via Butterley Station, where free parking is available.
