Sugar Snap Play – Something New For Under 5’s

Sugar Snap Play – Something New For Under 5’s

“It’s a 5 out of 5 for us, and I couldn’t recommend it more! I wish more spaces were like this so little ones could stay and play. Dare I say it’s a soft play we both love to go to.”

Sugar Snap Play Review By Ey-Up Duck Derbyshire Kids

I love this soft-play venue. It’s so different to what is out there for little ones play spaces.

It is a great and welcome alternative to soft-play centres for little ones and an excellent place for mums with babies to meet.

Every visit is calm, easy, and fun; the children are excited, happy, and engaged as new activities and themes are introduced each time. I don’t know how the team does it.

This is a different area than your average soft play area. Sugar Snap Play is all about offering play to help your kids learn and grow without a soft play frame on site.

Touching on some Montessori-style skills and layout, it’s such a new way for little ones to embrace soft play.

It’s designed specifically for babies and children under 5, is not just a play area. It’s a place where you and your little ones can bond and have fun together. They host stay-and-play sessions daily, providing a regular opportunity for you to visit and enjoy our unique play area and at great prices.

The Sugar Snap Play Areas

Sensory Table:

Let your little explorers dive into a world of mini-beasts, sensory play, and more. They are constantly changing this up so no visit will be the same.

These tables keep the little ones entertained for a good amount of time. The tables are the right height for under 5’s so gives them great independence.

Its so nice to site with them and play while they learn a new skill and are super proud of themseleves.

Craft Table:

Get those creative juices flowing with play dough and craft items during each session.

There is always something different for the little ones to do.

Look out for some great themed crafts when its Christmas, Easter, Halloween so much fun. Its the first table Eliza runs too.

Montessori-inspired block play shelf:

Spark your child’s imagination with vibrant building blocks and wooden animals.

So much to play with in this great Montessori toy rotation shelf.

The beautiful wooden toys are just stunning.

As well as the role play area, there are often some great role play tables as well. We went during the time they had the vets tables set up.

Eliza always loves it and as soon as we get home the imagination play continues. Its a great way to get to sit down for an hour as they play there hearts out.

Just grab a coffee and watch them explore.

Sensory Space:

Step into a calming oasis filled with bean bags, bubble lamps, and fibre optic lights.

This room is amazing and so relaxing. The mini jellyfish floating in the water tube. To the lit up tables with letters and shapes.

Eliza loved the mini steppers and fiber optic lighst in the corner.

The Baby Space:

Designed with newborns and wobbly walkers in mind, it’s a safe and cosy spot with soft seating, sensory toys, and more. It’s perfect for getting out and about with your little one in a warm, clean, safe, and friendly environment. I think this is crucial for new mums, giving you the chance to get out and meet other mums.

Perfect as well for grandparents looking for some where to take a little one. You know its clean and safe and lots of fun for them.
