Places like Gulliver’s Kingdom in Matlock Bath are perfect when they want proper rides without the crowds of a massive theme park, and the Heights of Abraham always goes down well with the cable cars and the caves. For something easy and indoors, Cineworld Chesterfield big screens, popcorn, and a couple of peaceful hours where everyone can switch off. If they need to move, Flip Out Derby is still a safe bet and Hollywood Bowl Derby is great when you want something competitive but fun. Crich Tramway Village is always a winner with the vintage trams, open spaces.
